The file cuts out six sides of the house. Score in the middle or just fold carefully on centerline. I used sewing machine to sew through the six layers of yardstick stacked on top of each other. Of course, you could glue, but sewing was much faster and make a nice seam. Fan out the sides to form a 3d house. You could also put something hanging in the middle of the heart shaped hole like a bird charm or a heart bead. Attache bead and string for hanging(we just punched a hole near the top).

We then used the hearts we had cut out, and sewed them down the middle. Makes a cute heart shaped ornament too.
